So I been reading all these bad comments about Fred loya and there claims department and im sorry to hear that all you people are so arrogant... Let me take some time to explain how insurance companies work
1st- check you're coverages and make sure it will repair your car
2nd- an adjuster will go to you're house to check the damages, obviously they cannot see any internal damages done to the car and yes they will always give you the lowest value. DUUUHHHH ur dealing with a company lol besides the point its just an estimate. Take your car to a body shop, its your right as a customer, you don't need to take that check
3rd- talk to you're agent and stay updated with them no company ever tells you what's going I don't care who you with all companies do this all the time and I'm talking from experience.

I been a Fred loya agent for 2 yrs and I never had a complaint from a single customer and its not the company with the bad reputation is the people who worked there that give it that bad reputation, don't get me wrong there's things this company needs to improve but then again you are disposable to every company unless its yours lol

This is sad. I had and accident a lady hit my car. I was going to take it to other body shops, they didnt want to accept the fred loya insurance. Im Very disapointed in them. I am going to find another insurance company asap. Farmers here i come, they took care of me immediatly. Im so glad that they the other insurance company is taking care of this matter. Fred Loya needs to discontinue his operation, its fake....

My wife just had a very minor accident involving FRED LOYA INSURANCE.Their rates may be cheap, But their service SUCKS! Her car has been in the shop 4DAYS! and we still don't have it back,you can't beat PROGRESSIVE! FRED LOYA needs to be put out of business!

I have experienced fred loya insurance first hand and believe me when you work for this company you see how they screw there customers over.

They tell you that is the lowest they can offer you at that time but then they have other programs where you can actually get a lower rate for even more coverage but they dont offer it because they lose out on money.

Claims is the worse,their adjusters dont follow up believe me people wake and smell the coffee youre paying really cheap,but for cheap insurance.when it comes to their employees their employees dont get treated fairly either, fred loya are nothing but low life drop-outs who pretend to be this high class educated mannered people when in reality they're nothing but drunkies with no education!!!!!!!

I had an accident with fred loya insured person. The Fred loya driver was at fault. I had my car damages estimated by one of my Insurance's Body shop. They provided an estimate of 1200$.I then filed a claim with fred Loya insurance. I got a call from fred loya insurance adjuster asking me for the location of my Car. I gave them the Info. I dont know what happend then. I just saw an estimate of 500$ put up on my door. Even the Mileage entered in the estimate was wrong. i dont think they ever did a proper estimate.

I am now going through my first Claim wiyh Loya insurance. After reading on the net their numerous complaints I must admit that I'm very dissapointed by what I read. If I'm not satified as a whole I will file a lawsuit because I am an attorney. So far as of today 1-3-11 no problem but I guess the next 72 hours shall be interesting. Stay tuned for the outcome.

This is the worst insurance company i have ever delt with the take your money and when it's time to pay they lie through their teeth and wont pay a granny bill.I feel sorry when they really get caught

It does not seem right to argue about labor rates coming from a body shop as there is alot of insurance fraud. I had an accident with one of Fred Loya's insured and they did their own estimate but they told me i had the choice to fix my vehicle any where. The cost was not a problem even if i went to a dealership. They said that the shop would call them to do a supplement and pay the difference. You have to realize that they dont tear apart the vehicle to inspect in detail. Well I did not have a problem with them. I just think that it may be a case of a disgruntle employee.

Fred Loya is a very bad claims practice company . I am a former Claims Adjustor for fred loya in Tx . They would offer low balling offers for PI and PD . As far as body shops i came from a body shop and they practice Insurance Steering which is illegal in the great state of texas . Im just glad im way past that company and didnt loose my Adjustor's License . .

If you have a problem with a insurance company pleae use your own insurance and subrogate the claim! People ya'll need to think of other options that are there.

The Fred Loya adjuster admitted to me that when they write an estimate at your house, they intentionally write at an extremely low labor rate. They said they do this just in case the customer doesn't fix it. By law they are supposed to write a fair and accurate estimate. They are THE WORST insurance company I have EVER seen, period!!

My wife was struck by a Fred Loya insured on the 6Th of Mar. 2009 I reported it to Fred Loya Claims approximately on the 10Th when I received the Police report. I did not receive a response from them admitting 70% Liability untill the 20TH of Mar.2009. The Insured admitted he did not see my wife when he drove in front of her, not yielding the right of way to the trafic on the highway. He admitted to the officer that it was his fault He recieved a ticket for not yieling the rigt of way. When the claims person called, my wife was at worked and couldnt talk but the claims person insisted on talking at that time. My wife does not have a 100% command of the english Language (she is a native speaker-Spanish Teacher) but they interviewed her by some one who spoke spanish that lacked knowledge of the spanish language. As my wife says " when I spoke Spanish she didnt understand me, O la estaba haciendo pendeja" Why is this company still in business? They messed withe wrong person, Fred Loya is going to Know of me soon because I will give them really bad publicityBy the way I looked for the Fred Loya insurance co in the Texas Dept of Insurane . Hes not listed under complaints filed, maybe because its realy not an Insurance Co. but only an agent.

Fred Loya is extreamly hard to deal with. Trust me if you ever get hit by someone who has Fred Loya insurance, Prepair for battle. I went through hell trying to get my car repaired and just getting my rental. Agents are almost never at their office and don't pick up calls. Leave a message and we only get a call a few days later. They cause so much delays even the repaird shop went through hell. I found this the hardway...should of done my research first before filing a claim with them.
