LIBERTY MUTUAL DOESNT PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMER
by: Anonymous

I too am insured by liberty mutual. I was in an accident that wasnt my fault and reported the accident to them. They told me that because I only had liability coverage...that I would have to negotiate my accident claim on my own. The other insurance company adjuster knows I only have liability and he is putting me through hell. It has been a month and I am still suffering from injuries that the insurance companies wont pay for and I am still driving around a smashed car.

Thanks for the step-by-step advice
by: Anonymous

My son and I were injured in an accident 6 months ago in which a teenage driver turned in front of our vehicle. Arbitration placed 100% liability on her; however, I am being left on my own by my insurance company to recover a settlement. I had a serious soft tissue injury (couldn't walk straight for almost a month) as well as surgery on my right hand for a torn ligament in my thumb (3 months in bandages/splints/casts) and I am right-handed. The information on your website has been so helpful in letting me know what to do next. Thanks for taking the time to educate the people who have been in accidents.

That should never be the Case
by: Hector & Casey

It is sad that consumers must talk to lawyers before the insurance company pay what they owe.

We pay high premiums to be "taken care of" when there is an accident, but then we get the run around.

The worst thing is when you are the victim (you were put in this situation and there was fault of your own) and the insurance company wants to raise your rates! That should not be legal, but it is.

Insurance agents want to discourage legitimate claims to be filed. They get money in bonus and performance reviews for selling selling polices that do not make a claim. Usually they will tell you that your rates will go up.

I am glad everything worked out!
