Learning the process and knowing how to "negotiate" should not be this hard. Insurance companies hide information and tell you "our way or the highway." must unwary consumers get cut in this process, and it can be quite devastating. We still think that having to fight that hard to argue the value of your car is not fair. Driving 70 miles to be able to argue $400 on the value of your car should not be the rule of thumb. We know that many of those comps are not real. As you said, you were able to confirm 1 out of 3. What are the others? we wondered. Safeco knows that they cannot take recorded statements from minors. Minors can be framed and they know better, still they try. We are glad you were able to get the statement thrown out.
