A squrill or rat chewed up the wiring under the hood of the car ( estimate was 1500.00 to 3,000.00 )is it covered. I am in Texas have full coverage and 100.00 deductable comprehensive.

Most likely yes. We say most likely because there could be exclusions about leaving your car too long outside without taking care of it (not that his is your case, just that there are few policies where insureds have higher burndens).

Comprehensive coverage is really meant to cover things like this. As you said, it is not cheap to fix this type of thing.
