Can I get auto insurance after an accident?

I hit someone this afternoon. my last auto insurance was 3 months ago. so i wasn't insured at the time of accident. can i still get someone to insure me for the accident

NO. You cannot. You are driving without insurance (which is illegal). You have to pay for the accident out of pocket.

You may be able to get insurance for future claims.
