Do I file a claim? | Do I need a police report?

well last night I didn't put my car in park when i got out of it and it rolled into my building causing only damage to my car.

My question is if no one was hurt or involved in the accident, do i still have to make a police report to get a claim from my insurance company?

Hello,

You don't need a police report of file a claim. Sometimes is good to have one. The only time you are required to you have is for hit and runs and for phantom vehicle claims.
