I was t boned in an intersection | Who's at fault?

I was stopped at a stop sign and felt there was plenty of time to turn so I slowly started to turn left and a car wasn’t looking and speed up a bit and t boned me .

They never hit their brakes and hit me at full speed. no police report was filed. I would just like to know what to expect
