My car was hit while I was in a grocery store

I was in the grocery store and when i came out I had a huge dent in my back left driver side wheel well that was not there when i went into the store.

I am wondering if i can file a claim for this with me only having liability on the car

You can file a claim, but the question should be, will it be covered?

If you only have liability, there is no coverage for this. You need collision, comprehensive (in case this was vandalism), or uninsured motorist coverage. Those are the only coverages that can help you.
