No fault accident new car | What can I do?

by Andres

My wife was in an accident for it was determined that she was not at fault.

The other driver was ticketed and at fault.

Our car is 2 months old from the show room and the damage can be repaired, am I entitled to compensation for the decrease in value of the new car due to the accident, even if it is repaired?

Answer:

Hello Andres,

The answer is yes, you are entitled to this type of compensation. It is difficult to make this claim and insurance companies will fight you. They do not like dealing with diminished value claims.

1 week old truck,< 550 miles was in accident
by: Anonymous

My 2011 F-150 XLT super crew, 2 wheel drive was in an accident with another car.He was making an illegal U-turn and plowed into me.
This truck was one week old and only had 535 miles on it. Damage was to the front center, right side corner. Am I wrong to expect a new replacement from the insurance company. We have the same insurance company also.
