Stolen Car

My car was stolen over thirty days ago in Michigan. State Farm is investigating the claim as fraud. I have to have a deposition with their attorney. How long can they drag out this claim?

Well, usually they have 30 days to give you an answer. However, an answer can be written of what is the development of the investigation. They must put you on notice every 30 days or so of what is happening. However, there are not really bound to give you a straight answer.

Sounds like you have been waiting a long time. You are strongly encourage to talk to an attorney before the deposition.
