I have a stolen motorcycle claim and the insurance company is giving me a hard time even though I gave them all the information they needed.

What can I do?

Stolen Motorcycle Claim

As you probably know the insurance company has 30 days from the day you filed the loss to investigate a claim. In our opinion that is a lot, but that is what the law says.

If they are giving you the run around, first ask for the specifics of the delay, if they do not explain what is going on, and why the delay, then contact the California Department of insurance http://www.insurance.ca.gov go to complaints and file a formal complaint.

Be sure to tell them that you are an insured and they are not giving you straight answers.
