Who is at fault for totaling my parked car?

by Doug

My car was parked in front of my home, parked on corner pointing south.

Car #1 was traveling west, Car # 2 was traveling north, Car #3 was traveling south, but stopped at intersection waiting for light to change.

Car #1 Hit car #2 knocking Car #2 into my parked car #4, Car # 1 stopped short of hitting Car #3, Cars #1 insurance companies are denying liability

Hello Doug,

Well, there are many liable parties here (looks like), a fault and liability claim investigation must be done.

However, there is one thing that does not seem to be in controversy. You are not liable at all. You are 0% negligent for this accident (assuming that you are legally parked and did not contributed to the accident in anyway) then the other vehicles are "jointly and severely liable" to you. They all must compensate you at 100%, then figure out who owes what and for what percentage.

Contact you own insurance company first. They can help you with this process.

Good Luck,
