Claim against my insurance

by Maninder

My son borrowed my car to go and collect his father, he is not insured on mine and his insurance prohibits him from driving other cars.

He was hit by a bike and now the bikers insurance company is claiming against my insurance, can they do that?

please can you advise

Thanks

Answer:

Yes, they can make a claim against your insurance and see if there is coverage. Likely, they are claiming that your son is at fault, so a fault investigation must be done.

It's important that your insurance company helps you with the liability investigation as they can claim that your son caused the entire thing.

Remember, just because they make a claim it does not mean they are correct about the decision.

I hope this helps
