Deductable for hitting a deer

by Patty
(Greenville,PA (mercer county))

I was told by a coworker that if you hit a deer in pennsylvania you aren't required to pay your deductible.

Is this correct?

Where will I find out my responsibility in my policy?

Answer:

Hello Patty,

We believe your coworker is incorrect.

Your policy declarations page (first page usually) will show you your coverages and deductibles. There, your vehicle and the comprehensive deductible should be listed. (The insurance company can write $0 or not applicable, but that is what you should look at).
