DO I call my insurance?

My car was not running and I needed to run errands.

My neighbor let me drive her car with her in the car. As i was backing up, there was a blind spot and I hit the side of her house with the car, causing damage to her bumper.

DO I call me insurance or pay out of pocket?

Answer:

Well, unfortunately the primary insurance coverage for an accident like this is the insurance company that insures that car. In other words, her insurance company would pay for it (assuming she has full coverage).

If you don't want that, your insurance company will not cover unless the primary insurance company does not provide coverage but they will have to be notified.

If you want to avoid her rates going up, you will have to pay yourself.

Good Luck
