Progressives won't pay for my car repairs if their client is 100% at fault?

by Yolanda Norville
(Elizabeth NJ)

Policy holder ran the stop sign causing me to hit a house and they claim that they are waiting for the people who own the house to give them the quote on how much the house cost to get fixed but the house was abandoned and needed work now the house is fixed and my car isn't.

Answer:

Hello Yolanda,

I am not sure I understand your question. There is no question here, only an statement. Are you asking with the house is fixed and not your car? That would depend on the coverage and fault investigation. Are you sure you were found 0% at fault for this accident.

The house clearly was hit and the home owners are not fault, so they are definitely owed for the repairs (even if the house is abandoned or worth little or nothing). If the insurance company is claiming that you over reacted or are partially responsible, this would explain why they are not paying for your damages right of way.
