Truck crashed by itself | Want to keet the total loss

I just bought a 03 dodge 1 ton diesel and hadden signed any papers on it. It was parked by my house with my goose neck trailer hooked to it, It jumped out of gear and rolled off and hit a tree.

The insurance company is saying it is a total loss. But they said would pay but I can't retain the vehicle no matter what. WHY! They won't give me an answer. How can I keep it anyway.

Uhm, well, they MUST GIVE YOU AN ANSWER. Contact an attorney and have them get you an answer. Some states would not allow you to keep the salvage, but most will. If you are in one of those states, the adjuster can point you to the proper statute.
