Whose Insurance is Claimed?

by Bri
(Seattle, WA USA)

Person A borrows Person B's car. Person A bumps another car, causing some minor damage that will require some labor and a replacement of a part. Who's insurance is used, Person A or Person B in order to be filed for the claim that Person C will fill out to have the car fixed?

Answer:

Hello Bri,

Person's B insurance company will likely have to pay. Person's A insurance will not get involved unless Person's B insurance has no coverage. This is assuming that Person has coverage.

Good Luck
